If you’ve done research and searched for journal articles, our ‘Find It’ button may look familiar to you:
Behind the scenes library staff members constantly coordinate, to create a seamless transition from searching in an article database to getting the full text article that you need:
Since this service was first initiated, the use has been significant and steadily increasing. In 2008, there were 93,145 requests (clicks on the ‘Find It’ button) and 74,497 click-throughs (clicks on the ‘GO’ button which takes you to the fulltext), which tells us that you are using this valuable service the library provides.
Before this service was available, research was much more time consuming. Chasing down citations to get the article you needed was considerably more difficult…and results were anything but immediate!
