“Bonanza” TV Series Mini-Marathon - December 9
November 3rd 2009 @ 2:18 pm Events, current

Take a study break on Prep Day, December 9! The University Library is hosting a mini-marathon of episodes from the TV series “Bonanza” in the Wells Fargo Auditorium, 1st Floor.

The three featured episodes are based on fact. In “Death on Sun Mountain” (8:00pm), a greedy opportunist stirs up trouble between the Paiute tribe and the citizens of Virginia City. The “Julia Bulette Story” (9:15pm) is inspired by the true story of a Virginia City madam. In The Philip Deideshiemer Story (10:30pm) the Cartwrights assist a German engineer in developing the concept of “square set timbering” in the mines

    Hi,
I would come to this event but it is too late. For those of us living off campus and with other responsibilities - please consider making your events more accessible.
    Thanks,
    eileen

Sorry you can’t make it, Eileen. We’ll keep your comment in mind the next time we schedule an event.

Just a quick follow-up on this: we checked into doing another showing of these episodes, but unfortunately, our license only covers us for one performance.
