For years, the UNR Libraries has purchased doctoral dissertations and master theses for individuals from ProQuest/UMI through Document Delivery Services. But in October 2008, the Knowledge Center reallocated the funds used to purchase these materials to upgrade our subscription from Dissertation Abstracts (an abstracting and indexing database that provided full-text access only to UNR material [...]

The Mathewson Automated Retrieval System (MARS) is a storage facility for some (but not nearly all) of the UNR Libraries books, journals, and other materials. Books will still be available to browse on the shelves when the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center opens on August 11th.
